Hanover Master Guide Drum Corps

The Hanover Master Guide Drum Corps commenced active service at  Hanover Federation Easter Camp in  April 2010 and continues to serve the parish and wider conference fraternity at street marches, funerals, investitures, uniformed rallys, and other church and community events. The corps is sponsored by the Hanover Master Guide Club, and is managed by a six member committee. Rehearsals are held at the Lucea SDA Church on Sundays from 5:30 to 7:30.pm. Persons wishing to engage the service of, or pursue membership in the corps may visit during these training sessions. You may also call 871-0773 or e-mail  to hanovermgc@yahoo.com

Hanover Master Guide Choir.

The concept of a Hanover Master Guide Choir had its genesis in the mass choir organized by the West Jamaica Conference Master Guide Association to celebrate their Tenth Anniversary in 2008. The choir was comprised predominantly of Hanoverians who had travelled to Westmorland and St James in the weeks leading to the event for rehearsals.

The performance was a major success, and in September we were invited to perform at the WJC Master Guide Investiture in Anchovy, St James.
In the following year (2009), the Master Guide Rally was held in Hopewell, Hanover, and naturally we were the performing choir.

Since 2008 our singers have participated in many master guide functions, and continue to serve with distinction.
